Textile Bleaching and Dyeing Machine Operator / Wool Dyer

Job Description

Join our textile manufacturing team as a Wool Dyer where you will be responsible for dyeing wool fibers according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of dyeing techniques and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This position will require the ability to monitor dyeing processes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with team members to improve overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix dye solutions accurately according to formulas.
• Operate dyeing machinery to dye wool fibers in specified colors.
• Observe dyeing processes and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Test color samples to ensure they meet client requirements.
• Document dyeing processes, color formulas, and results for traceability.
• Keep dyeing machinery and area clean and orderly.
• Assist in training new employees on dyeing techniques and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings in the dyeing process.
• Implement best practices to improve dyeing outcomes and reduce waste.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Training or certification in dyeing preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in wool dyeing or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent
