Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide counseling services to clients facing various mental health challenges. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic sessions to promote mental wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document clients' mental health conditions and progress.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate therapeutic group discussions to foster peer support.
  • Collaborate with families to support clients’ treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Engage in continuous training and certification processes.
  • Advocate for client needs within the healthcare system.
  • Document and report client progress and interventions accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's in Social Work (MSW) or Psychology
  • Licensure as an LMHC is highly preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in mental health counseling
