Job Description

The Parole Director supervises the parole system's management, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role emphasizes the rehabilitation of parolees, advocating for essential support services, and leading a dedicated team to foster community reintegration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute training programs for parole officers and support staff.
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations to bolster parolee support services.
  • Oversee data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of parole programs.
  • Develop community outreach initiatives to enhance public understanding of parole services.
  • Supervise case reviews and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all parole operations.
  • Engage in regular meetings with criminal justice stakeholders to optimize service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
  • Master's degree in Social Work is a plus.
Experience
  • Proven experience in parole management or community services is preferred.
