Job Description

The Contract Sheltered Workshop Supervisor plays a critical role in managing the daily operations of our sheltered workshop. This position oversees a diverse team of employees with disabilities, ensuring they have the support and training needed to be successful in their jobs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating inclusive work environments and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the sheltered workshop and manage workflow.
  • Ensure that employees receive the necessary support and accommodations.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Document and report all incidents or accidents that occur in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with HR for personnel decisions and training needs.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and teamwork among staff.
  • Plan and execute community outreach events to promote awareness.
  • Administer the workshop budget and manage expenditures.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of products being produced.
  • Develop metrics to assess employee satisfaction and workshop success.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
