Job Description

As a Crossing Guard, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of pedestrians, especially school children, as they navigate busy intersections. Your role involves monitoring traffic flow, providing guidance, and educating children on safe crossing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local traffic control to maintain safe pedestrian movement.
  • Be proactive in communicating with drivers to encourage safe driving behavior.
  • Attend training sessions and community safety meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate a strong presence in the community to promote safety awareness.
  • Assist in developing safety programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • No previous experience required, but experience working with children or in a safety-related role is beneficial.
