Job Description

Seeking a dedicated School Crossing Guard who can effectively manage student safety on their way to and from school. You will oversee traffic flow and escort children safely across streets, creating a secure atmosphere for learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist students in safely crossing roads near school premises.
  • Maintain traffic control and adhere to road safety regulations.
  • Escort students and ensure they follow proper road-crossing protocols.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and local authorities to enhance safety measures.
  • Report any incidents or concerns related to student safety.
  • Use clear signals and instructions to communicate with both drivers and pedestrians.
  • Monitor the behavior of students at crosswalks to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure visibility and awareness of potential hazards around schools.
  • Engage with the community to foster awareness of pedestrian safety.
  • Regularly inspect crosswalks for obstacles or issues that may pose a threat.

Education
