Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boat Rigger to join our dedicated team in Miami. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of rigging systems on various types of boats and yachts. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' vessels are safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various rigging components and systems.
• Conduct safety inspections on all rigging equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Provide expert guidance to clients regarding rigging and safety.
• Maintain an organized workspace while using rigging tools.
• Execute regular maintenance checks and improvements.
• Work in tandem with other marine professionals to troubleshoot issues.
• Record detailed logs of all work performed.
• Observe all safety and operational protocols during tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in rigging systems installation and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• Hand and power tools proficiency
• Electrical system knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of electrical systems related to rigging: Understanding of electrical components that may interact with rigging systems.
