Lead Pourer

Job Description

As a Lead Pourer, you will be pivotal in the metal casting process, ensuring molten metal is poured accurately into molds. You'll also oversee a team to maintain the quality and safety standards of our production line.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pouring operations for various cast products.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and practices.
• Direct and oversee a team of pourers.
• Actively participate in the quality control processes.
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to enhance casting processes.
• Keep records of production output and material usage.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of direct experience in a metal pouring and casting environment.

Technical Skills

• Casting Equipment Operation
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift Certification: Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely.
• Experience with Different Casting Materials: Knowledge of various metal and alloy properties for casting.
