Commercial Diver / Diver Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Diver to join our team as a Diver Tender, responsible for supporting professional divers during underwater operations, ensuring their safety while assisting with equipment preparation and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transport diving equipment to and from worksites.
• Provide logistical support for divers during operations.
• Conduct pre-dive checks and assist with diver briefings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Assist in training activities for new divers and tenders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report any issues or malfunctions of equipment to supervisors.
• Assist in underwater repair tasks as required.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and drills.
• Document all activities and findings during operations.

Requirements

Education

• Valid commercial diving certification

Experience

• Experience in marine construction or repair projects preferred.

Technical Skills

• Underwater Welding

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced First Aid Certification: Certification in advanced first aid techniques.
