Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Burr Sander to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sanding and finishing wood and metal materials using burr sanders, ensuring the smooth operation of the sanding process.

Responsibilities

• Operate burr sanders efficiently to finish wood and metal surfaces.
• Conduct routine inspections of materials to ensure they meet specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow.
• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols rigorously.
• Document sanding processes and provide feedback to management for improvement.
• Support quality control processes by conducting inspections.
• Identify potential hazards in the workspace and report them immediately.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Engage in continuous training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in woodworking or manufacturing processes is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, with a focus on metalworking preferred
