Conventional Machinist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Conventional Machinist to set up and operate manual machines for the production of precision metal parts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of tools and machines to maintain operational efficiency.
• Assist in designing fixtures and tooling setups for production.
• Ensure that workspaces are clean and organized.
• Keep up with the latest advancements in manual machining techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in machining is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in machining

Technical Skills

• Milling Machine Operation
• CNC Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software: Experience in using CAD/CAM software for machining design is advantageous.
• Fabrication Experience: Knowledge of metal fabrication processes is a plus.
