Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Prepress Technicians and Workers to assist in the production of high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will operate typesetting machines, ensuring efficiency and quality during the printing process while adhering to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate typesetting machines while ensuring the quality of printing plates.
• Coordinate with prepress technicians to ensure correct job setup.
• Document production activities and report discrepancies to management.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines to maintain efficiency.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or technical degree in printing or a related field preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience operating typesetting machines or similar equipment

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Typesetting software (e.g., Adobe InDesign)
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with digital typesetting software: Familiarity with advanced typesetting systems for enhanced production efficiency.
• Experience with various printing techniques: Knowledge of offset and flexography printing processes.
