Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and analyzing various structures, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with architects and other engineers to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive structural designs for various building types.
• Evaluate existing structures and provide retrofitting recommendations.
• Research and implement innovative structural design techniques.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with construction teams to overcome on-site challenges.
• Conduct cost estimation for new projects.
• Stay updated on new regulations and developments in the field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 6+ years of progressive experience in structural design.

Technical Skills

• Steel Design
• Concrete Design

Certifications

• LEED AP Certification
• Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proven track record of successful project management: Experience managing multiple structural projects simultaneously will be an asset.
• Familiarity with advanced modeling software: Experience with tools like ETABS or ANSYS for complex structural analysis.
