Jig Inspector

Job Description

The Jig Inspector ensures that all jigs and fixtures used in the manufacturing process meet the highest quality standards. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our production lines. Regular inspections and maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs will be part of your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of jigs and fixtures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and repair jigs and fixtures as necessary.
• Troubleshoot issues with jigs and fixtures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve jig and fixture design.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
• Assist in developing new jigs and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
• Train junior inspectors and assist with onboarding new staff.

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC Machines: Familiarity with CNC machinery operation and programming.
• Experience with Robotics: Knowledge of robotics in manufacturing applications.
• 3D Printing Experience: Understanding of 3D printing technologies and applications.
