Job Description

As a Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter/Operator at Manufacturing Solutions LLC, you'll play a vital role in our production team. Your primary responsibility will include setting up and operating drill press machines to achieve precise drilling in metal components. Attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines are essential to ensure high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for new production runs based on production schedules.
• Conducts trials to ensure machine settings are correct before full production.
• Communicates any issues encountered during production to the relevant departments.
• Ensures compliance with company and industry safety standards.
• Keeps accurate logs of work performed and production results.
• Adapts to changes in production needs by reprogramming machines when necessary.
• Mentors junior staff on best practices in machine operation.
• Participates in team meetings to discuss production efficiency and quality improvements.
• Engages in continuous training on the latest machining technologies.
• Works within team structures to troubleshoot and resolve machine problems promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in machining processes is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in CNC machining is advantageous
