Cooling Pipe Inspector

Job Description

As a Cooling Pipe Inspector with HVAC Solutions Inc., you will be tasked with inspecting and testing cooling pipes, ensuring quality adherence and performance. The role requires a thorough understanding of cooling systems and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of cooling pipes and systems to detect defects and potential issues.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to measure and test cooling system performance.
• Monitor data collected during inspections and perform analysis to identify potential problems.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action based on inspection findings.
• Maintain an organized database of inspections and results.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection team.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical inspection roles

Technical Skills

• Experience with ultrasonic testing
• Familiarity with quality assurance principles

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Time management

Certifications

• HVAC Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and regulations: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with HVAC installation: Practical experience in the installation of HVAC systems.
