Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of surgical procedures, ensure exceptional patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve treatment outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage surgical patients before and after procedures.
- Perform complex surgical procedures including extractions and reconstructive surgeries.
- Work closely with anesthesiologists and nursing staff during surgeries.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance surgical skills.
- Contribute to the development of new surgical protocols and techniques.
- Engage in community outreach and educational programs.
- Document and report surgical outcomes for quality improvement.
Requirements
Education
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
- Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
Experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on surgical experience
