Accountant

Job Description

We are actively seeking an Accountant to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and tax compliance. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Evaluate and improve financial processes for efficiency.
• Act as a support for the financial team during audits.
• Mentor junior accountants and provide training.
• Prepare documentation for external audits and tax filings.
• Contribute to team initiatives for financial improvement.
• Analyze trends in financial data and report findings.
• Assist in developing the annual budget.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

• Financial Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with budgeting and forecasting: Hands-on experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts.
