Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Goat Driver to join our team. As a Goat Driver, you will be responsible for handling and driving goats for various purposes, such as land clearing, brush control, and weed management. This role requires competence in handling and training goats, ensuring their well-being, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Lead goat teams in land clearing and brush control projects.
  • Provide hands-on training for goats to enhance their performance.
  • Conduct regular health checks and care for the goats in accordance with established standards.
  • Work strategically with project leads to align goat activities with project timelines.
  • Document and report goat health and maintenance records accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and local regulations regarding animal handling.
  • Ensure that all equipment used in goat management is functional and safe.
  • Support the onboarding process for new goat drivers.
  • Explore and implement new practices for goat-driven vegetation management.
  • Participate in other land management initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in goat handling or related field.
