Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Forest and Conservation Workers to join our team in Portland. This position involves operating machinery, assisting with tree removal, and promoting sustainable forestry practices, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently operate tree chippers, feeding mechanisms, and other related equipment.
  • Receive and process forestry materials for conservation projects.
  • Inspect machinery for functionality and perform basic repairs.
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members on project planning.
  • Identify and rectify safety hazards in the work area.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable forestry practices.
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in forestry or landscaping roles is preferred.
