Job Description

As a Fitter at Manufacturing Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems such as piping, pumps, and motors. This role demands a meticulous approach, ensuring that you adhere to blueprints and specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain tools and machinery in safe working condition.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide input on the design and fabrication process based on practical experience.
• Implement best practices for assembly and installation.
• Conduct final checks on completed installations to ensure functionality.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Assist with training new hires on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Quality control processes

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift operation certification: A valid certification to operate forklifts safely.
