Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mold Setter to join our team, responsible for setting up and maintaining molds for our plastic injection molding processes. The ideal candidate will ensure proper alignment of molds, handle adjustments, and troubleshoot any production issues. This position is crucial in delivering high-quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection molding machines, ensuring molds are correctly installed.
• Make and document adjustments to mold settings for enhanced production quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects during production, implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure standards are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of improved mold-setting techniques.
• Provide insights on mold performance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document maintenance activities and inventory supplies needed for operations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in mold setting or related field is preferred
• Associates degree in a technical discipline is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience with specific mold types or materials is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
