Yarn Utility Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Yarn Utility Operator, where you will oversee and manage the operation of yarn production equipment. Your primary focus will be to maintain the machinery that ensures high-quality yarn production while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain yarn production machinery, including spinning and winding machines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality output and identify issues early.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Handle yarn materials, loading and unloading yarn as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Record production data to support quality control.
• Train new operators on equipment operation and production processes.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring yarn stock levels.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in yarn production or textile manufacturing preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific yarn production equipment brands: Familiarity with XYZ spinning machines or similar.
