Job Description

As a Yeast Maker, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining yeast cultures used in the production of various food items. This role requires knowledge of microbiology, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of yeast production.
  • Analyze and interpret data from yeast culture experiments.
  • Implement corrective actions for any deviations in yeast production.
  • Conduct training sessions on yeast handling and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fermentation technology.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant area is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years in food production, specifically yeast management
