Job Description

The Welding Specialist will be responsible for performing welding operations according to industry standards and company policies. You will work with various metals and welding techniques to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced welding machines and tools to complete projects.
• Evaluate welding techniques and suggest improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards in welding operations.
• Assist in the quality assurance process for finished assemblies.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on special projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Welding Technology is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of welding experience in a fabrication environment.

Technical Skills

• Stick Welding
• Welding Codes Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Time Management

Certifications

• AWS Certified Welder
• Forklift Certification - preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a production environment: Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication: Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
