Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our Atlanta office. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and advising clients on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will display a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
• Collaborate with financial planners to create strategic tax solutions.
• Handle correspondence with tax authorities and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare tax projections and forecasts based on financial scenarios.
• Educate clients on tax implications of various financial decisions.
• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff for accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax compliance and client management
