Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join our Atlanta office. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and advising clients on tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will display a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and seminars on tax topics for clients and staff.
• Analyze and interpret tax regulations to advise clients accordingly.
• Prepare documentation for IRS and state audits.
• Assist clients with tax-related issues and appeals.
• Work with financial software to prepare and review tax documents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax compliance and client management

• Tax Certifications (CTEC or similar)
