Job Description

As a Cloth Booker, you will take charge of the complete process of cloth procurement, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. You will negotiate with suppliers, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with the production team to meet demand in a fast-paced textile environment. You play a pivotal role in maintaining the supply chain efficiency of the company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with various suppliers for timely booking of cloth materials based on production needs.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to optimize stock levels.
• Monitor cloth quality to assure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure availability of required materials.
• Address any cloth-related disputes or issues that may arise with suppliers.
• Stay informed about fabric market trends, new materials, and emerging suppliers.
• Continuously assess and streamline procurement processes for improved cost-efficiency.
• Generate reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis.
• Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to cloth procurement.
