Claims Analyst

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Claims Analyst to become a valued member of our claims team. You will conduct thorough investigations into claims, assess coverage and determine liability while providing superior service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle claim disputes and provide resolutions.
• Collaborate with a team to improve claims processing procedures.
• Review and analyze complex claims scenarios.
• Prepare detailed reports on claim status and outcomes.
• Assist in the training of new claims staff.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations and insurance policies.
• Provide recommendations for policy improvements.
• Maintain professional and courteous relationships with all parties.
• Support management with special projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in claims processing and analysis, preferably in complex claims.

Technical Skills

• Claims Management Systems Experience
• SQL Database Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Detail Orientation

Certifications

• Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, AIC)

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with complex claims (environmental, product liability): Ability to handle intricate claims with a deep understanding.
• Bilingual in a language other than English: Ability to communicate with a diverse clientele.
