Job Description

As a Patient Representative, you will serve as a critical point of contact for patients, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed promptly while navigating the healthcare system. Your role involves managing patient accounts, verifying insurance eligibility, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing their financial concerns.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Educate patients on financial assistance programs available to them.
  • Collect and process patient payments while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to improve patient experience and efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards.
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems for managing patient information.
  • Generate financial reports and assist in analytical tasks as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and patient feedback.
