Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist (RCP), you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory conditions. Your role involves collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop effective respiratory care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat respiratory disorders in patients.
  • Provide respiratory therapies and maintain equipment.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and response to treatment.
  • Educate patients about respiratory health and preventive measures.
  • Work with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies.
  • Stay informed about new therapies and practices in respiratory care.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during treatments.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred
  • Additional certifications like Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist or Sleep Disorders Specialist
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a critical care setting
