Job Description

The Printing Press Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate ensures that the printing presses are correctly calibrated and that printing runs are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process.
  • Adjust inks and color settings to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Train junior operators on machinery operation and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure print readiness.
  • Implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to printing technology.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a vocational or technical training program in printing or a related field
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Printing Press Operator or Machinist.
Technical Skills
