Job Description

As a Tombstone Polisher, you'll be responsible for the meticulous polishing and maintenance of tombstones and grave markers. This position requires a commitment to quality and respect for the memories associated with each marker. Ideal candidates will possess both technical polishing skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly polish and maintain the appearance of grave markers.
  • Identify and fix surface imperfections with care.
  • Conduct regular inspections of cemetery grounds for maintenance needs.
  • Assist in arranging for repairs beyond basic polishing.
  • Keep work area safe and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to families visiting the cemetery.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.
  • Follow all company guidelines and regulations.
  • Support the team in achieving high standards of cemetery upkeep.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are clean and in good working order.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in a funeral services environment is preferred
