Job Description
The Library Assistant will provide clerical support to the library by managing customer service requests, organizing library materials, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patrons.
Responsibilities
Engage with patrons to ensure a positive service experience.
Perform inventory checks on library materials.
Assist in the development of library workshops and other educational programs.
Track and report on service metrics and patron feedback.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of library technologies and resources.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
Master's degree in Library Science preferred
Experience
Experience in customer service and administrative tasks in a library or public service role.
