Job Description

The Library Assistant will provide clerical support to the library by managing customer service requests, organizing library materials, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patrons.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with patrons to ensure a positive service experience.
  • Perform inventory checks on library materials.
  • Assist in the development of library workshops and other educational programs.
  • Track and report on service metrics and patron feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of library technologies and resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Library Science preferred
Experience
  • Experience in customer service and administrative tasks in a library or public service role.
