Reinforced Ironworker

Job Description

As a Reinforced Ironworker, you will play a crucial role in reinforcing concrete structures such as bridges, buildings, and highways. This position requires your expertise in structural engineering, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of safety and durability.

Responsibilities

• Align and secure rebar and wire mesh using clamps and welding techniques.
• Monitor the placement of rebar and wire mesh for compliance with project specifications.
• Inspect and repair existing concrete structures for signs of wear and damage.
• Operate heavy-duty machinery to move and position rebar and wire mesh.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Provide guidance and assistance to other members of the construction team as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in welding or heavy machinery operation is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in steel and concrete reinforcement

Technical Skills

• Ability to use various tools to cut and bend steel bars and wire mesh
• Experience operating heavy-duty machinery

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail

Certifications

• Certification in welding
• Experience with concrete formwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
