As a Family Physician, you will play a vital role in our mission to improve community health in New Orleans. Focusing on all aspects of care, from routine check-ups to urgent medical needs, you will empower patients through education and support. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic diseases.
  • Establish partnerships with patients to foster trust and open communication.
  • Initiate health education programs to improve community health awareness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care.
  • Document patient history and care plans clearly and accurately.
  • Participate in medical research and community health projects as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a focus in Family Medicine or Primary Care
  • Fellowship training is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in family health practice preferred
