Scarf and Anneal Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scarf and Anneal Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating scarfing and annealing machinery to produce high-quality metal products while ensuring optimal performance and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines for scarfing and annealing processes.
• Monitor the production process and adjust settings for optimal output.
• Conduct periodic inspections of machinery for efficient operation.
• Train new operators on machinery usage and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine performance metrics.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels of materials needed for production.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environments.

Technical Skills

• Scarfing and Annealing Machinery Experience
• Industrial Control Systems Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior Experience with Specific Machinery Brands: Hands-on experience with specific brands of scarfing and annealing equipment.
