Job Description

As a Developmentally Delayed Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored educational support to students facing developmental challenges. You will develop individualized education plans (IEPs) while working collaboratively with families and other educators to ensure student success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and adjust teaching approaches based on individual student performance and feedback.
  • Coordinate with outside agencies and organizations to provide additional support for students.
  • Organize and facilitate family workshops to promote understanding of special education.
  • Advocate for the needs of students with developmental delays within the school system.
  • Document and report on student progress for compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Master's degree in Special Education is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with children with developmental delays.
