Diesel Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Diesel Inspector to join our Quality Control team. The role entails inspecting and testing diesel engines and vehicles, ensuring they meet industry regulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with diesel systems and a strong understanding of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance of diesel engines and components through inspection.
• Identify potential safety hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align on repair and maintenance procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Quality Control department.
• Participate in safety audits and training sessions.
• Keep abreast of developments in diesel technology and inspection methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Diesel Technology preferred
• Any additional certifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diesel inspection and repair with heavy-duty systems experience

Technical Skills

• Heavy-Duty Diesel Experience
• Advanced Diagnostics

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• ASE Certification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Hybrid Systems: Knowledge of hybrid or electric-diesel systems is beneficial.
