Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our enthusiastic team at Local Veterinary Clinic. You will play a critical role in providing quality care for our patients, assisting veterinarians during examinations, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab work including blood tests and urinalysis.
• Guide pet owners through treatment plans and follow-ups.
• Manage anesthetic protocols and monitor patient recovery.
• Educate clients about preventative health care.
• Assist with the coordination of appointments and follow-ups.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is a plus

Experience

• 1+ years of working in a veterinary practice

Certifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

• Surgical assistance experience: Background in assisting during surgeries and knowledge of anesthesia.
