Engineering Technician

Job Description

In the role of Engineering Technician, you’ll work closely with our engineering team in Raleigh to design, develop, and test engineering solutions. This position requires proficiency in CAD software and the ability to read technical drawings. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute their skills to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to fulfill project requirements.
• Analyze project constraints and provide feasible solutions.
• Contribute to safety assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvements.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior staff.
• Monitor equipment and inventory related to engineering projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in engineering technician roles

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks
• Data analysis

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Technician in Engineering (CTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of renewable energy systems: Understanding of solar and wind energy systems.
• Experience with programming languages: Basic knowledge of Python or MATLAB programming.
