Fender Mechanic

Job Description

As a Fender Mechanic, your primary duty will involve inspecting, repairing, and replacing vehicle fenders. You will utilize a variety of tools and techniques to ensure each repair not only meets but exceeds our quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate fender damage and recommend solutions.
• Utilize welding equipment and fabrication tools as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all equipment is handled correctly.
• Assist with general automotive service tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in automotive repair is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive body repair and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of vehicle body repair and maintenance
• Ability to use and maintain a variety of hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills

Certifications

• Certification in automotive body repair and painting
• Valid driver's license

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with custom vehicle modifications: Familiarity with installing and customizing vehicle parts.
• Experience with welding and fabricating: Proficiency in welding techniques for automotive repairs.
