Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk (Expeditor) to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago. The successful candidate will coordinate and expedite the movement of materials and supplies, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the logistics of material procurement and distribution.
• Track shipments and update internal stakeholders on delivery timelines.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular audits.
• Foster relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Assist in developing supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency.

• Train new staff on procurement processes and inventory management tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role in supply chain or logistics management

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Management Tools
• SAP or Oracle

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
