Line Service Person

Job Description

As a Line Service Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth airport operations. Your responsibilities will include servicing aircraft, fueling planes, and maintaining ground support equipment. Attention to detail and safety is paramount in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft fueling, deicing, and ground handling operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Assist with cargo and baggage operations on aircraft.
• Operate GSE such as tugs, tow bars, and forklifts.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of GSE.
• Communicate with team members and other airport staff.
• Use software tools to maintain accurate operational records.
• Help train new staff in safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Experience

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds.

Advantageous

• Experience with hazardous materials handling: Familiarity with safety protocols for handling fuel and other materials.
