Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Jacksonville. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall physical function. Your role will involve conducting evaluations, documenting progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose physical therapy needs of patients.
• Create and modify individualized treatment plans to achieve goals.
• Engage patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Document treatment outcomes and patient improvements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss patient progress.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance on home exercise programs.
• Maintain equipment and workspace to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Attend seminars and workshops to enhance professional skills.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Specialization in Orthopedic or Neurological Therapy is preferred.

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant clinical experience

Certifications

• Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT)
• AHA BLS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
