Parking Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Parking Technician, responsible for the upkeep and management of various parking facilities. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, customer interaction, and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance to ensure seamless parking operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles to available parking spaces and collect payment.
• Issue parking tickets and provide customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parking facility.
• Assist with emergency situations and provide first aid if necessary.
• Keep equipment in good working condition through routine checks.
• Assist in the training of new staff members.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical training in automotive or related field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field

Technical Skills

• Mechanical diagnostics
• Electrical systems knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer service
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with major parking equipment manufacturers: Familiarity with Parkeon, T2 Systems, and WPS Parking Systems equipment.
• Certification in automotive technology or related field: Certification can boost qualifications.
