We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Grinder, Filer, and Sharpener to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on maintaining, grinding, and sharpening tools to meet our strict quality standards. You will be responsible for assessing tool conditions and working diligently to restore them to optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tools are kept in excellent working condition through regular maintenance.
• Implement safety protocols while operating grinding machinery.
• Train junior staff on proper grinding and sharpening techniques.
• Coordinate with suppliers for new tools and replacement parts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in machining or tool sharpening preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tool grinding and sharpening

Technical Skills

• Tool sharpening techniques
• Machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC machines: Experience operating CNC machining tools to enhance precision.
