Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Terrazzo Journeyman to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in terrazzo installation, repair, and maintenance, ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. You will be responsible for executing terrazzo installations in both residential and commercial settings while collaborating with our project managers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished surfaces to maintain high standards.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentices in terrazzo installation techniques.
• Document project progress and report any issues to management.
• Help with the maintenance of tools and equipment used in terrazzo installation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with large-scale commercial terrazzo projects is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in terrazzo installation and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Local Building Codes

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience on large-scale commercial terrazzo projects: Experience working on significant commercial installations.
