Job Description

The Machine Feeders and Offbearers position entails operating and maintaining the suppository molding machine. You will ensure the highest quality and timely production of suppositories, adhering to strict company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions to set up and operate the suppository molding machine.
• Perform checks on raw materials and prepare them for production.
• Ensure the machine is operating at optimal levels by monitoring and adjusting as necessary.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and document results.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance machine operation skills.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Preferred experience operating and maintaining complex machinery

Technical Skills

• Operating pharmaceutical machinery
• Record keeping

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with FDA regulations: Knowledge of FDA guidelines and standards for pharmaceutical production.
• Previous supervisory experience: Experience supervising a small team is advantageous.
