Job Description

We are seeking an Aviation Inspector specialized in aircraft landing gear systems. The candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect landing gear components for signs of wear or damage.
  • Document all inspection findings meticulously.
  • Perform non-destructive testing on landing gear systems.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for aircraft.
  • Review and interpret technical manuals and regulatory documents.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions for identified issues.
  • Advise management on maintenance strategies and compliance.
  • Participate in safety meetings to discuss inspection outcomes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical training in aviation maintenance
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or inspection

Certifications
  • FAA A&P Certification
  • NDT Certification is a plus
