Job Description

We are in search of a Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team in Houston. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing engineering solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and contribute to our project goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop new mechanical projects from concept through to production.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to facilitate integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and select materials and components that best meet project specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards throughout the engineering process.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and technical reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Systems Design

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in ANSYS: Experience using ANSYS for simulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of ASME standards: Understanding of ASME standards and regulations in mechanical engineering.
